King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of the
Belgians have embarked on their historic first official visit to
the Democratic Republic of Congo, one of the country’s former
colonies. The visit had to be postponed twice; supposed to take
place in 2020 to celebrate Congo’s 60th independence anniversary,
but it had to be cancelled due to travel restrictions. It had been
