Prince Henrik of Denmark has undergone
surgery on his right pelvis after being admitted to hospital last
week. The 83-year-old had the operation due to an obstruction in
his veins and is now recovering at Aarhus University Hospital
in Skejby. In a statement, the Danish Royal House said that
the interventions were made due to a narrowing of the pulse veins.
