His Late Majesty King Michael of Romania died on 5 December at his home in Switzerland after years of ill health. He was 96. His body is due to arrive in Romania on 13 December where it will lie in state. The funeral will take place on 16 December at the Patriarchal Cathedral in Bucharest.
