Queen cancels Christmas travel plans

The Queen has cancelled her Christmas travel plans to Sandringham today, due to a heavy cold. A man has been sentenced to eight-and-a-half years in prison after he made bomb threats during The Queen’s visit to the Republic of Ireland in 2011. 66-year-old Donal Billings called Irish police in May 2011 saying that there was a bomb on a bus in Maynooth.
