King Felipe of Spain has arrived in
Puerto Rico to mark its capital, San Juan’s fifth centennial. He
will be in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, a territory of the
United States, from 24 to 26 January. Celebrations marking San
Juan’s founding 500 years ago took place last year, but the global
health crisis delayed King Felipe’s visit and other celebrations
until 2022.
