Princess Madeleine of Sweden spoke to People Magazine about her passion for protecting children, especially since she is now a mother of two. While in New York City last week for meetings with the United Nations, the Swedish royal attended panel discussions on the rights of children. The Sustainable Development Goals regarding ending sexual violence against children were a focal point.

Princess Leonore of Sweden Visits Duchy for the First Time

Sweden’s Princess Leonore, 2, accompanied by her parents Princess Madeleine and Christopher O’Neill, visited her duchy of Gotland for the first time on 3 June. Her grandfather King Carl XVI Gustaf named her the Duchess of Gotland at a cabinet meeting on 26 February 2014, just a few days after her birth in New York City on the 20 February. The young princess had a busy day of events.
