Prince Charles marks 150th Anniversary of London's Sewer Network

The Prince of Wales visited Lee Tunnel
and Abbey Mills Pumping Station to mark the 150th anniversary of
London’s sewer network in London on Wednesday. London has outgrown
the 150-year old system created by Joseph Balzagette. A system
created initially for two million people has now tripled in size,
and now 39 million tonnes of untreated sewage mixed with rainwater
