Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge has given birth to a baby boy at the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital, London.
The Duchess was taken to the Lindo Wing in the early hours of Monday morning in what was termed ‘the early stages of labour’.
Kate was safely delivered of a son, weighing 8 pounds and 6 ounces at 4.24pm.
This will be The Queen’s 1st great-grandson.
