Princess Charlene is all smiles at the St Devote Rugby

Princess Charlene was all smiles at the St Devote Rugby alongside Prince Albert and their twins, Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques.

Charlene walked around the track at the stadium and greeted the many children participating from 14 nations; the Princess was even seen giving fist bumps to some of the pre-teens.

The Princess of Monaco clearly enjoyed the day and shared photos from the event on her Instagram account, writing: “Great day at St Devote Rugby, God bless you all.”

The seven-year-old twins looked thrilled to be at the event alongside their mother, after being separated from her for most of 2021 due to her health issues.

The St Devote Rugby Tournament returned this year after a two-year hiatus due to the global health crisis. This year, 100 children under the age of 12 competed in a day-long event of a seven-side rugby match. The event is sponsored by Princess Charlene and the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation.

This was Princess Charlene’s second event in as many weeks. Last week, she attended the Monaco E-Prix alongside her family, marking her first public event in over a year in Monaco.

This was the first time the family had been in public together since the Princess returned from South Africa last November after being grounded in her home country for months due to an ear, nose and throat infection that required several surgeries.

After returning to Monaco in November, it soon became apparent that Her Serene Highness was not well. Prince Albert said there was a family intervention, and Charlene left for treatment at an undisclosed location for several months.

Princess Charlene was back in Monaco by 12 March with the Princely Palace saying she was still recovering and that it would take time for her to begin to undertake official duties.
