Princess Beatrice visits work of King’s Foundation

Princess Beatrice has visited a new exhibition connected to her uncle, King Charles.

On Monday, Princess Beatrice visited the Future Textiles exhibition currently on at The Garrison Chapel.

The King’s Foundation began the Future Textiles programme a decade ago in 2014 to help provide education for those wanting to work in the textile industry and to ensure that heritage crafts are not lost in the United Kingdom.

The exhibition at The Garrison Chapel explores the history of the project and highlights the stories of some of the 7,000 people who have gone through.

Princess Beatrice was able to view the exhibition. Afterwards, she chatted with previous students, staff, and alumni of The King’s Foundation to learn more about their experiences.

Beatrice was also appropriately chic for the visit. She paired a black sweater and black knight midi-length skirt with her houndstooth, Reformation Baker coat.

Princess Beatrice is currently expecting her second child with husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

The King’s Foundation was originally founded in 1986 by the then-Prince of Wales and focused on educating and advancing architecture in urban design. Throughout its evolution, it has taken on a wider scope but continues to focus on education and providing opportunities.
