Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have announced that their wedding will be held in St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in May 2018. An exact date will be announced at a later date. Windsor is a very special for Prince Harry and Meghan, and they have regularly spent time there over the last year and a half. They have been granted permission from Her Majesty The Queen for the use of the chapel.
St George’s Chapel has hosted many royal weddings, and the couple is hoping to shape the day so that members of the public can celebrate the day with them. They are currently in the process of planning all aspects of the wedding.
The core aspects of the wedding, such as the church service, the associated music, flowers, decorations and the receptions afterwards will be paid for by the royal family. Any other costs, like security and transport, will most likely be covered by the taxpayers.
The wedding is expected to cost less than the wedding of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, which reportedly cost £20 million. It is likely that at least part of the wedding will be televised but the day will not be declared a bank holiday.
Ahead of the wedding Meghan Markle will be baptised and confirmed in the Church of England, despite the fact that this is not necessary to marry in the church. The couple’s first public engagement will be on Friday in the city of Nottingham.
Nottingham is a place close to Prince Harry’s heart. On their visit, Harry and Meghan will focus on issues close to their hearts including raising awareness of issues including HIV/AIDS and youth crime. The couple will conduct a walkabout outside the National Justice Museum.

I should hope they pay for this wedding, I´m not too keen on it, I´m more than sure the tight lips of the tax payers are thinking the same. just saying!
