The Queen arrives outside of St George’s Chapel dressed in a lime green coat, floral print dress and hat . Her arrival meaning the time is approaching for the arrival of Meghan Markle and her mother, Doria Ragland. I am sure on this day of all days that she does not mind for once not being the centre of attention. Her Majesty has welcomed Meghan into the Royal family, and on Thursday met with her mother, no doubt allaying her fears and relaxing her on what will be a day to surpass any Hollywood red carpet for the eyes of the world will be on them.

The wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be the second time HM The Queen has attended the wedding of one of her grand-children at St. George’s Chapel. Interestingly, Thursday just gone (17th May) was the tenth anniversary of her oldest grandchild, Peter Phillips marrying his Canadian bride, Autumn Kelly. In addition, of course to her youngest son, Prince Edward who married Sophie Rhys-Jones at the Chapel on the 19th June 1999.
The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh enter St George’s Chapel by the Galilee Porch with a fanfare from the State Trumpeters of the Household Cavalry before they are greeted by the Dean of Windsor, The Right Reverend David Conner KCVO, who introduces her to the Canons of Windsor, and the Archbishop of Canterbury, The Queen and Duke are escorted to their seats in the Quire as those already there stand.
