Cambridge children star in new family photo to mark Christmas

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge released a new photograph last night on social media to celebrate the holidays.

The photo was released on Christmas Eve and features the Duke of Cambridge giving Prince Louis, 1, a kiss while Princess Charlotte, 4, and Prince George, 6, smile at the camera.

The black and white image was taken by the Duchess of Cambridge earlier this year in Norfolk.

The couple said on Twitter, “Merry Christmas to all our followers!”

They added on Instagram, “We wish all our followers a very happy and relaxing Christmas Day.”

The Duchess of Cambridge regularly gets behind the lens to take photos of her children that are released to the media.

Earlier this month, the Cambridge family’s personal Christmas card was revealed on Twitter with a new photograph of the family of five. However, Kensington Palace has not officially released that image to the public.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s Christmas card was also revealed on Twitter earlier this week, and it features an adorable picture of baby Archie. The couple chose to send most of their cards out electronically out of respect for the environment.
