Swedish Crown Princess Family visits police to wish them a happy Christmas

The Swedish Crown Princess Family visited the Norrmalm police station in Stockholm on Christmas Eve to wish the policemen and women a happy Christmas.

Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel thanked the police officers, who would be working on Christmas Eve, for their work and service on behalf of the Royal Family for their work on Christmas and all days of the year.

Princess Estelle, 7, and Prince Oscar, 3, also accompanied their parents and brought gingerbread for the police officers.

Prince Oscar was given his own police hat and badge for his jumper.

The royals learned more about the police’s work and got a chance to sit in a police car with little Oscar getting in the driver’s seat much to the joy of his parents and sister.

Last week, the family released their yearly Christmas video. This year, they went to a local church for the children to learn more about the birth of Christ and help set up the manger scene. The video and photos can be seen here.

Later today, King Carl XVI Gustaf will give his annual Christmas Day address.
