The Duke of Kent is the second royal this
week to cancel a royal engagement. He is suffering from a chest
infection and has been forced to pull out of royal engagements on
“doctor’s advice” for the next week according to Buckingham Palace.
His younger sister, 80-year-old Princess Alexandra also cancelled

The Duke of Kent, President of the Royal
National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI), will embark on a
two-day visit to six Welsh Lifeboat stations and the Holyhead
Coastguard Coordination Centre Monday 5th and Tuesday 6th October.
Later this week, he will celebrate his 80th birthday on 9th
