It was Princess Leonor in the driver’s seat as the Spanish Royal Family spent the day in Palma.
The young royal was seen behind the wheel driving around her younger sister Infanta Sofía, who sat in the passenger seat, and her mother Queen Letizia and grandmother Queen Sofía, both of whom sat in the backseat.

The Spanish Royal Family typically spends part of their summer holidays in Mallorca, though this year they’ve divided their time between Spain and Paris for the Summer Olympics. Notably absent in Mallorca was King Felipe, who was in still in Paris.
The Spanish Royal Court shared a roundup of the family’s attendance at the Olympics, with their youngest members coming out as the stars.
For the first time, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía attended the Olympics without their parents. The duo took in men’s doubles tennis, water polo, swimming, women’s field hockey, women’s badminton, men’s beach volleyball, fencing, and table tennis. They also toured the Olympic Village and met with Spain’s Olympians.
It’s been a busy summer for Princess Leonor. Not only did she represent Spain in Paris, she also undertook her first official solo visit overseas, to Portugal, and completed her first year of military training. In the autumn, she’ll begin training with the Spanish Navy.
