The Duchess of Edinburgh is currently representing the Royal Family in Paris for the 2024 Summer Olympics and she has made style a priority for her trip to the fashion capital.Â
On day 11, the Duchess was at the Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines Velodrome to watch track cycling as the Patron of the British Cycling Foundation. She chose to wear a striking dress to cheer on TeamGB.Â

It is described as a pleated floral-print voile midi dress and even has a French connection in the design. The print is based on seventeenth century French etchings of floral bouquets, with honeysuckle, daffodils, and tulips featuring in the floral print. The dress normally retails for £1,200.
Her ensemble was particularly good luck for TeamGB, as Emma Finucane, Katy Marchant and Sophie Capewell not only won TeamGB’s first gold medal in track cycling but also set a new world record.Â

The Duchess was ecstatic to see the trio claim the Gold Medal and was cheering loudly and hugging those around her.Â
The favourite espadrilles were also worn for another Olympics appearance as Sophie cheered on the men’s hockey team in their quarter finals. The Duchess of Edinburgh chose a white summer shirt and long pleated skirt for this day at the Olympics.
During her time in Paris, Sophie also visited the House of Dior to find out more about its history and its work with a Scottish firm, Johnstons of Elgin.
