An unexpected tiara debut for daughter of Princess Martha Louise

Princess Martha Louise of Norway

Leah Isadora Behn, daughter of Princess Märtha Louise and her late husband Ari Behn, granddaughter of King Harald and Queen Sonja of Norway, has attended Le Bal des Débutantes in Paris.

Behn was one of 20 girls from all over the world who were selected for “Le Bal” in Paris. It took place at the Shangri-La hotel in Paris on November 26th 2022. Leah Isadora is the first Norwegian to receive an invitation to the exclusive ball.

The granddaughter of the King of Norway shone in a powder pink dress by the Italian fashion designer Giambattista Valli. She topped it all off by wearing a tiara for the first time. In fact, she made her tiara debut at an earlier age than her cousin, Princess Ingrid Alexandra of Norway. The second in line to the throne wore a tiara publicly for the first time at the age of 18 while Leah is only 17 years old.

Leah Isadora Behn has made a big mark in Norway’s influencer world in the past year. The 17-year-old is probably at least as well known for being a beauty influencer and TikToker as for being a granddaughter of the King and Queen of Norway.

In October, Leah Behn gave an interview to the Spanish magazine “Hola”. It was then that it became known that she had been invited to the ball. Behn is also in a Norwegian TV series about influencers who are said to have filmed Behn taking her mother, Princess Märtha Louise, to shop for a dress for the ball in Paris. This will be on Norwegian television next year.

The Italian fashion designer Giambattista Valli has a close relationship with the Norwegian royal family. Among other things, he is one of the favourite designers of Crown Princess Mette Marit of Norway, Leah Isadora Behn’s aunt.
