The judicial police in Luxembourg have launched a preliminary investigation into the alleged physical violence against employees at the Grand Ducal Court.
The allegations came to light during a recent interview on the RTL Radio Press Club broadcast where several cases of supposed physical violence against the staff at the Court were discussed.
The public prosecutor will not make any decisions until the investigation is complete. Those decisions include whether or not further steps will be taken and what the repercussions would be for the Grand Ducal Court.
This comes after the Luxembourg Prime Minister had the Court looked into by a special commission regarding their finances and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa’s role in managing employees. The Waringo Report was released at the end of last week saying that reforms had to be made at the Court. It stressed that a culture of fear dominated the Grand Ducal Court.
