Four new official photographs of The King and Queen have been released to mark the occasion of the Coronation on May 6 at Westminster Abbey.
Taken in Buckingham Palace by Hugo Burnand, the photos show King Charles and Queen Camilla in their regalia following on from the service.
There is also a photograph showing the working members of The Royal Family alongside Their Majesties.
The first photograph shows King Charles in full regalia in the Throne Room at Buckingham Palace
His Majesty is wearing The Robe of Estate, The Imperial State Crown and is holding the Sovereign’s Orb and Sovereign’s Sceptre with Cross.
His Majesty is seated on one of a pair of 1902 throne chairs that were made for the future King George V and Queen Mary for use at the Coronation of King Edward VII.
In another photograph, Her Majesty The Queen is pictured in The Green Drawing Room at the Palace. The Queen is wearing Queen Mary’s Crown and Robe of Estate.
A third photograph shows The King and Queen together in the Throne Room at Buckingham Palace.
Finally, in the fourth official photograph, working members of The Royal Family joined Their Majesties for a portrait.
Captured in the image with The King and Queen are the Duke of Kent, the Duke & Duchess of Gloucester, the Princess Royal and Sir Tim Laurence, The King, The Queen, the Prince & Princess of Wales, the Duke & Duchess of Edinburgh, and Princess Alexandra.
