The King has won admiration for his choice of outfit on his long-haul flight to the Bahamas, with royal fans delighted to see him wearing a shirt and tie aboard the aircraft.
King Charles was photographed seated in his aircraft seat, reading through a collection of papers while travelling from London to Nassau at the beginning of his nine-day Caribbean tour.

While many passengers opt for comfortable, casual clothing when embarking on a long-haul flight, The King appeared to have other ideas.
His Majesty wore a smart, striped white shirt and a patterned tie for the journey, maintaining a formal appearance even while travelling thousands of miles across the Atlantic.
The photograph caught the attention of royal watchers on social media, with one admirer expressing their appreciation for the King’s choice of attire.
“I absolutely bloody love that he wears a tie on a long haul flight. God Save The King!” they wrote.
The King’s flight to the Bahamas marked the beginning of a nine-day tour of the Caribbean, which will also take him to Guyana and Antigua and Barbuda.
His Majesty arrived in Nassau on Tuesday, 27 October, where he was formally welcomed by senior Bahamian officials and inspected a Guard of Honour.
His first engagement took place at Clifford Park, where he attended The Future Bahamas Youth Rally and Exhibition.
The location holds particular significance for The King, who visited the Bahamas as Prince of Wales in 1973 to take part in celebrations marking the country’s independence.
More than five decades later, he returned to meet young people and celebrate their achievements, with the programme featuring cultural performances and exhibitions highlighting innovation, education and entrepreneurship.
The tour will conclude in Antigua and Barbuda, where Queen Camilla will join The King for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.
