Prince William joined his wife and grandmother in the passenger seat of the car as they headed to Crathie Kirk, a small Church of Scotland parish church in the village of Crathie.

Also attending church with The Queen and the Cambridges were the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall who travelled in a separate car.

Princess Anne and her husband, Sir Tim Laurence, were also present, as were Peter and Autumn Phillips.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their young family were spotted arriving at Balmoral Castle on Friday afternoon.

Photos published in the Daily Mail showed William and Kate standing beside a Range Rover and heading to a lunch hosted by The Queen and Prince Philip. Not pictured were Prince George, Princess Charlotte, or Prince Louis, though they’d been spotted on Thursday at the airport on the way to Aberdeen.

Members of The Royal Family often schedule part of their summer holiday with The Queen up at Balmoral Castle, her Scottish hideaway, where she spends the majority of her summer before heading back to London for her usual engagements.

Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah, Duchess of York, were at Balmoral earlier in August but flew off to Spain for a vacation before Prince Philip joined The Queen.

The Duke & Duchess of Sussex and baby Archie are expected to pay a visit to The Queen in the next few weeks, as Harry’s engagement at the Rugby League Challenge Cup Final on Saturday prevented them from joining the Cambridges and the Phillips this weekend.
