Prince William on visit to Welsh Guards

The Welsh Guards got a special visit from their Colonel as Prince William headed to barracks to hear plans for the regiment.

The Prince of Wales made a private visit to the Guards at their Combermere Barracks.

During the visit, which was announced after it had taken place, the focus was put on work around physical and mental rehabilitation.

The Prince was seen chatting with soldiers and visiting others as they trained in the gym.

The Colonel also heard about future projects during his time at the barracks.

After the visit, a short statement on the official social media of the Prince and Princess of Wales said ”it’s always a pleasure visiting the barracks to speak with the soldiers.”
