Prince Philip’s use of the F-word resurfaces

Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh

It has been ten years since the late Prince Philip made headlines after a video of him swearing at a photographer went viral.

As new claims are made about the Queen Elizabeth’s husband’s salty language, we take a look back at that moment in 2015.

It was during a photocall whilst meeting some World War Two veterans where Prince Philip’s patience wore then.

At the event to mark the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, Prince Philip joined the veterans for a photograph to mark the occasion.

However, as the photographer took his time, seemingly dithering, Prince Philip snapped: “Just take the fucking picture!”

The event at the RAF Club was caught on video by TV cameras, and made headlines – highlighting the prince’s colourful language.

He was joined at the event by Prince William and Edward & Sophie – who were then the Earl and Countess of Wessex.
