Kensington Palace released new images last night to mark the
second birthday of Prince Louis.
The photos were taken by the Duchess of Cambridge earlier this
month at the family’s Norfolk home, Anmer Hall.

Young Louis is seen happily playing with watercolours in the
images, and a picture of his hand-painted rainbow artwork was
released alongside his birthday images. The rainbow artwork is in
tribute to NHS workers across the country who are on the frontlines
of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Prince’s rainbow handprint was placed on the window of Anmer
Hall to support the NHS workers. Millions of other children across
the UK have created rainbow drawings and pictures, with the idea
originating in Italy, to place in the windows of their homes to
show support for those in the medical field.

The Duchess of Cambridge recently revealed that the family was
keeping in touch with their parents and grandparents through video
chats and that two-year-old Louis loved to push the red ‘end’
button.
Prince Louis’s older sister, Princess Charlotte will soon
celebrate her birthday, as well. The Princess will turn five on 2
May. His cousin, Archie (the son of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex)
will celebrate his first birthday just a few days later on 6 May in
Los Angeles, where the Sussexes currently reside.
Prince Louis is the third and youngest child of the Duke and
Duchess of Cambridge and was born in the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s
Hospital in London in 2018.
