Dubai princess goes missing after posting a haunting video online

Dubai princess Sheikha Latifa and her friend have disappeared in mysterious circumstances off the coast of Goa.

The 33-year-old royal from Dubai had previously instructed her lawyer to circulate a chilling video, which sees the princess talk directly to the camera, should her death or disappearance occur.

Latifa is reported to have gone missing alongside an American known as Herve Jaubert and has not been heard from since 4 March when she sent her lawyer, Radha Sterling, a WhatsApp message.

According to reports from NDTV, the message is thought to have come from a US-registered boat that was positioned at least 50 miles from India’s coastline.

In her message she told Radha Sterling “Radha, please help me, there are men outside” along with claims that she could hear gunshots coming from nearby.

In the video now circulated to the public, the princess is seen speaking directly to the camera, bare-faced with her hair tied back and a plain blue t-shirt on.

Throughout the 40-minute-long video, the Sheikha gives viewers a disturbing account of what it has been like to be a part of Dubai’s royal family for all her life.

She can be heard saying “I am making this video as it could be my last.

“Pretty soon I am going to be leaving somehow I’m not sure of the outcome, but I’m 99 percent positive this could work.”

Stirling has also revealed that Latifa had also contacted her firm, Detained in Dubai, on 26 February to tell them she had escaped the country after being tortured for helping her sister who had also wanted to run away after, as she claims, not being able to make choices for her future.

Latifa is one of Sheikh Mohammed’s, the Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, 30 children.

In her video she claims that by the time it has come to the public’s attention, she may be “dead or in a really bad situation.”

The UK Met Police say that information about the two missing individuals has been passed to the National Crime Agency and international liaison officers.

This way the case can be investigated further and hopefully result in finding the Dubai princess and the American citizen safe and alive.
