Following the tradition started many years ago, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel have released new photos of their children to mark National Day in Sweden.
Two new images of the Crown Princess Family were released in their traditional Swedish dress on 6 June. Linda Broström took the photos at the Royal Palace.
One photo shows Princess Estelle, 10, and Prince Oscar, 6, with their parents looking on from a distance. The other photograph features the happy family of four.
The royals shared the photos on social media, wishing everyone a happy national day.
It has been a tradition since Princess Estelle was a year old to release a photo or two of her in Sweden’s national costume on the country’s national holiday. When Prince Oscar was born in 2016, he joined his big sister in the images.
Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel have appeared in National Day images since the global health crisis began and have been featured in videos to celebrate the holiday with the Swedish people remotely.
However, this year, the celebrations were able to get back to normal, with people returning to the streets of Stockholm and the Royal Family partaking in a carriage ride before attending a ceremony at Skansen Museum.
