A new family photo of the Hereditary Grand Ducal Family has been released on the occasion of Prince Francois’s christening.
The family of four is seen smiling at the camera in what is assumed to be their home at Fischbach Castle.
The Grand Ducal Court released the photo alongside the christening images.
Prince Francois’s christening was not announced ahead of time.
Francois was christened on Saturday, 3 June, in the presence of the Grand Ducal Family and the Hereditary Grand Duchess’ family.
His paternal aunt, Princess Alexandra and his maternal uncle, Christian de Lannoy, were named godparents.
Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Stephanie de Lannoy married in October 2022. Their first child, Prince Charles, was born on 10 May 2020, and their second child, Prince Francois, was born on 27 March 2023.
