
Since the death of the Constantine II, in January 2023, several members of the Greek royal family have gone public and shown their love for him. The latest is the King’s granddaughter, Princess Olympia of Greece and Denmark.
The Greek princess has taken to Instagram this week with two photographs of her late grandfather. The first image shows King Constantine performing martial arts. The picture was taken in the gardens of the Tatoi Palace in 1966. The second photograph shows the King and Princess Olympia together when the princess was only a small baby. As a statement in her post, the princess has written briefly: “To my beloved Apapa, forever in my heart”.
Last week, the Greek royal family, including Princess Olympia, again gathered in Athens to participate in a memorial service for the late King Constantine, marking forty days since his death.
On 10 January 2023, the Head of the Royal House of Greece and former King, Constantine II, passed away in Athens at the age of 82. After suffering a stroke in hospital, Constantine was placed in intensive care and later passed away.
Princess Olympia of Greece is the daughter of Pavlos, Crown Prince of Greece and Marie-Chantal, Crown Princess of Greece. She was born on 25 July 1996 in New York and grew up in England and graduated from an international school in London. Princess Olympia has an active life on social media and is a popular influencer and model with over 200,000 followers on Instagram. She has also been featured in several fashion magazines and has participated in fashion weeks in Paris and New York.
