We told you earlier this week about True Royalty’s two new episodes of their exclusive programme The Royal View.
Now we are going to give you a peek into what you’ve missed out on if you haven’t signed up for True Royalty and seen the new episodes “The Royal View: Windsors at War” and “The Royal View: From ‘I Do’ to ‘We’re Through’.”
In “Windsors at War”, the bond between Princes William and Harry are discussed due to the tragic 1997 loss of their mother, Diana, Princess of Wales. Diana’s former bodyguard, Ken Wharfe, talks about a moment between the boys when they were younger. William told Harry to shut up, and Harry responded by saying, ” won’t be the king, you will be, so I can do what I want.” Wharfe explained how that comment frustrated Diana – and so much more!
The Prince of Wales’s plan to slim down the monarch is also focused on, and an example from The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee where Charles organised a photo with only five members of the family. The family, particularly Andrew, were not happy.
From ‘I Do’ to ‘We’re Through’ focuses on royal marriages. Marrying into the most well-known family in the world is not easy, and there’s a significant amount of stress that comes with it. Viewers will see the episode “explore how each generation of monarchy reflects our changing society.”
Comparison’s to King Edward VII’s abdication to marry his American love, who was divorced, and Prince Harry marrying Meghan Markle – another American divorced woman – are made showing how things have changed in the decades since 1937. Further changes between the generations are also focal points.
Ingrid Seward, Editor of Majesty Magazine, said about the Duchess of Sussex’s mark on the Royal Family, ” Meghan has done more for American-English relations than anyone has ever done.”
