The Duke and Duchess of Sussex in Morocco: day one photos

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have arrived in Morocco for their three day visit. The official welcomes were short but sweet if you include the mountain of dates the royals were offered as they touched down at Casablanca. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were welcomed to the royal residence they will stay at by fifteen year old Crown Prince Moulay Hassan.

They had arrived at Casablanca airport earlier on a scheduled flight. The UK ambassador, Thomas Reilly, led the delegation welcoming the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to Morocco.

There was confirmation ahead of their arrival that medical provisions had been made for the Duchess of Sussex who is now approaching eight months pregnant.

The man with the plan

 

Thomas Reilly has been overseeing preparations for this visit for months now and his final task involved picking which patriotic socks to wear for the big arrival.
