Who was at the Service of Thanksgiving?

The Prince of Wales led the members of the Royal Family in honouring The Queen at Friday’s Service of Thanksgiving, one of the few events where the full family, working and non-working members alike, were in attendance to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee.

Here’s a full run down of who was in attendance at the Service of Thanksgiving.

Representing The Queen was Prince Charles, who arrived just before the service began with Camilla. They were escorted to their seats with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence were seated next to William and Kate, while the Earl and Countess of Wessex and their two children, Lady Louise and James, Viscount Severn, were seated in the front row across the aisle. Next to the Wessexes in the front row were the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, then the Duke of Kent and Princess Alexandra, the Honorable Lady Ogilvy.

With the two front rows reserved for working royals, the second rows were taken up by non-working members of the Royal Family.

On the left behind Timothy Laurence were extended members of the Gloucester and Kent branches of the family. The Earl of Ulster, eldest son and heir of the Duke of Gloucester, was sat in the second row, as was Lady Davina Lewis and George and Lady Rose Gilman, the daughters and son-in-law of the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester. Prince and Princess Michael of Kent and their children, Lord Frederick Windsor and his wife Sophie Winkleman, and Lady Gabriella Kingston and her husband Thomas Kingston were in the same row.

Lady Helen Taylor, only daughter of the Duke of Kent, was also in attendance, with her husband Timothy, as was Lord Nicholas Windsor, son of the Duke of Kent; and James and Julia Ogilvy, the son and daughter-in-law of Princess Alexandra. The Earl of St Andrews, eldest son and heir to the Duke of Kent, and his wife Sylvana Tomaselli were seated next to the Ogilvys, with the 2nd Earl Snowdon and his children Viscount Linley and The Honourable Margarita Armstrong-Jones, Mike and Zara Tindall, and Peter Phillips making up the rest of that aisle.

Across the aisle, the York princesses and their husbands, Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank, were seated behind the Wessexes. Next to them were the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at their first official royal engagement since 2020.

The end of the second row was occupied by Lady Sarah Chatto, daughter of the late Princess Margaret, her husband Daniel, and their two sons, Samuel and Arthur Chatto.
