Wedding guests start to arrive for the royal wedding

While the ceremony is not due to the start until noon, the first wedding guests have started to arrive. Among the first spotted were Oprah Winfrey and Earl Spencer, the brother of the late Diana, Princess of Wales.

As the guests wait for the ceremony to begin, they are treated to several pieces of music by Mr Luke Bond, the Assistant Director of Music and the Orchestra. They will play pieces by Johann Sebastian Bach, Sir Alfred Herbert Brewer, Herbert Howells, Charles-Marie Widor, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Sir Edward Elgar, Gustav Holst, Sir Charles Hubert Hastings Parry and Peter Warlock.

Around half an hour before the ceremony, members of the royal family will begin to arrive. They will be received by the Dean of Windsor, who presents the Canons of Windsor and the Archbishop of Canterbury. The last to arrive before the bride will be Her Majesty The Queen who is also received by the Dean of Windsor. All those seated in the Quire will stand as Her Majesty The Queen is conducted to her place.

The service is led by The Right Reverend David Conner KCVO, Dean of Windsor. The marriage is solemnized by The Most Reverend and Right Honourable Justin
Welby, Archbishop of Canterbury.
