To mark the eighth birthday of their eldest child, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have released a new image of Prince George ahead of his big day tomorrow.
The photo was taken by the Duchess of Cambridge in Norfolk earlier this month.

Catherine, a keen photographer, has taken the birthday photographs of all three of her children this year.
The young royal has been seen in public more recently at games for the Euro Championships alongside his parents – that includes the Euro Final when the Great Britain faced off against Italy. However, his recent appearances have led some social media trolls to attack George for how he was dressed and looked at the game. This led some to believe that the Duke and Duchess would not release a new photo for his eighth birthday.
Prince George, third in line to the British throne, was born on 22 July 2013 in the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital in London. Celebrations for his birth were held all across the UK and the Commonwealth.
He has two younger siblings, Princess Charlotte (b. 2015) and Prince Louis (b. 2018).
George attends London’s St Thomas Battersea alongside Princess Charlotte. Rumours have been circulating that the young royal may enroll in a boarding school in Berkshire come autumn. This has not been confirmed by Kensington Palace.
