The King & Queen sending ‘heartfelt prayers’ to Lady Gabriella Windsor following husband’s sudden death

The King and Queen have sent their ‘heartfelt prayers’ to the family Lady Gabriella Windsor and her family following the sudden death of her husband on Sunday.

Emergency services were called to an address in Gloucestershire on Sunday where Thomas Kingston was found deceased on arrival.

No cause of death for the 45-year-old been confirmed, although it is believed there are no suspicious circumstances or third party involvement.

In a statement, a Buckingham Palace spokesperson said: “The King and the Queen have been informed of Thomas’s death and join Prince and Princess Michael of Kent and all those who knew him in grieving a much-loved member of the family.

“In particular, Their Majesties send their most heartfelt thoughts and prayers to Gabriella and to all the Kingston family.”

Lady Gabriella is the daughter of Prince & Prince Michael of Kent. She married Mr Kingston in May 2019.

His immediate family have paid tribute to him, saying: “Tom was an exceptional man who lit up the lives of all who knew him. His death has come as a great shock to the whole family and we ask you to respect our privacy as we mourn his passing.”
