The British Royal Family unite at Westminster Abbey at the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II

The British Royal Family has united for the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II at Westminster Abbey.

The Queen’s children, King Charles III, the Princess Royal, the Duke of York and Earl of Wessex, walked behind the casket during the Procession to Westminster Abbey. They were joined by The Queen’s grandsons, the Prince of Wales, Duke of Sussex and Peter Phillips. Her Late Majesty’s nephew, the Earl of Snowdon, and her cousin, the Duke of Gloucester, rounded off those following the gun carriage.

Inside Westminster Abbey, the Queen Consort, the Princess of Wales, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, the Duchess of Sussex, Timothy Laurence, the Countess of Wessex, Prince Michael of Kent and the Duke of Kent joined the procession behind the coffin.

The grandchildren and their spouses of Her Late Majesty were all in attendance; besides the Prince of Wales, Duke of Sussex, and Peter Phillips were Zara Tindall and her husband, Mike, Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edo, Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack, Lady Louise and James, Viscount Severn.

The two children of the Queen Consort, Laura Lopes and Tom Parker-Bowles, were also in attendance to say goodbye to their stepgrandmother.

Sarah, Duchess of York, was also seated with the Royal Family to support her two daughters – Beatrice and Eugenie.

The late monarch’s nephew, the Earl of Snowdon, was joined by his two children, Charles and Margarita. Queen Elizabeth’s niece, Lady Sarah Chatto, was there with her husband, Daniel and their two sons, Arthur and Samuel.

Lady Pamela Mountbatten, 93, also attended; she is the first cousin of the late Prince Philip and was a bridesmaid at Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip’s wedding.

Other extended members of the Royal Family attended the families of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, the Duke and Duchess of Kent and the Duke and Duchess of Glouchester.
