The ballot for tickets for the Coronation Concert is now open – here’s how to enter

The ballot to get tickets for the Coronation Concert is now open.

The chance to get a pair of free tickets in the draw went live at 7am on February 10th 2023. The website for entries remains open until February 28th 2023.

The Coronation Concert takes place on Sunday May 7th 2023 at Windsor Castle. It’s part of the Coronation Celebration weekend. King Charles III and Queen Camilla will be crowned on May 6th 2023 at Westminster Abbey.

There are 5,000 pairs of free tickets available. The ballot is NOT first come, first served. Once entries for the draw are closed, at the end of February, the recipients will be chosen at random from all those who have put their names forward.

There are some rules. The ballot is only open to residents of England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands. Anyone with a BFPO (British Forces Post Office) address is also allowed to enter.

You must be aged eighteen or over to go into the draw. Winners will receive a pair of tickets so they can bring themselves and one guest. That guest can be aged 11 or over. However, anyone aged between 11 and 16 who is attending must be with a parent or legal guardian to come along. However,  someone acting with the written consent of parent or legal guardian will also be permitted to bring a guest aged 11 to 16 with them, too, meaning grandparents can bring along grandchildren.

All tickets are standing only and lucky winners will be notified by email by the middle of April 2023.

There are full terms and details on the website – you can enter the ballot on it now. Here’s the link – and good luck!
