Mike Tindall has said that Meghan Markle will fit into The Royal Family just fine, however, warns that it a ‘nerve-wracking’ experience.
Speaking to The Sunday People, Mike said: “It comes with a lot of history and the family that it is. It’s obviously nerve-racking.
“But she has been under enough scrutiny and pressure in her day-to-day life so I’m sure she will get through it. She will be fine.
“As long as they are both happy that’s all that you can ask for. She’ll do absolutely fine.”
Mike has been married to Princess Anne’s daughter, Zara, for six years now. Like Meghan, before becoming acquainted with the royals, he was in the public eye for very different reasons.
The 38-year-old was Captain of the England Rugby team, and was part of the 2003 World Cup winning squad.
Mike also revealed that he loves Meghan’s show, Suits, and adds that he looks forward to finally meeting Prince Harry’s girlfriend.
It emerged last week that Prince Harry had whisked Meghan away to Africa to celebrate her 36th birthday. Since then, speculation has been rife about whether an engagement is imminent.
Meghan is an accomplished actress having worked on shows including General Hospital, Fringe, Castle and, most notably, Suits where she has played character Rachel Zane since July 2011. In addition to television work, she has also had small roles in a few movies including Horrible Bosses, Remember Me and Get Him to the Greek.
In addition to acting, Meghan is an active humanitarian. She has worked as a counsellor for the One Young World charitable organisation, where she spoke in Dublin at its annual summit in 2014. In 2016, she became the Global Ambassador World Vision Canada and attended the Ottawa Summit that same year. In her role, she also travelled to Rwanda for the Clean Water Campaign.
Meghan is a lovely girl and I hope she and Harry have a happy life.
How can Rachel Markle be such a humanitarian? She had very little income until Prince Harry started giving it to her. Is this another Palace con job like with Camilla?
Erm… who are you writing about? This article is about MEGHAN MARKLE. Perhaps you got your gossip tangled.
Her name is Meghan, and she has been earning her own way for quite some time now, it seems. Giving of your time does not have to cost you money, but putting out the right message for young people can clearly lead to other people getting on board to support the initiative. The right sort of experience for joining the Firm, and should it transpire, one hopes that as she goes along she will have plenty of support and guidance in getting it right. Kate is clearly doing her best to keep on the right track and yet still be her own person, so why not Meghan? Mike Tindall also seems to be doing fine,
Hear, hear! Although people in Hollywood do receive more “credit” for doing things for others than those of us who do it daily because we know it’s the right thing to do, I agree. I also will say that one’s time is more useful than money OFTEN. When I ask for help at the Women’s Shelter or the food bank, people never want to. “Oh but I am happy to write you a check!” shows that people think time should only be spent in pursuit of…. Well, who knows. I would rather have ten awesome volunteers than ten checks 99% of the time.
It really is beyond my ken as to WHY people think it is acceptable to assume things about strangers, make a full, yet fully uneducated, judgment of their character, then air it in public.
At risk of joining in gossip, I have to add that Prince Harry would not give a woman he is dating one penny. The horrid papers who probably still root through his trash would have a field day with that, and trust me. No Windsor worth his salt would do that!
