The Prince of Wales showed off his athletic side for a visit to Centrepoint where he pulled on his boxing gloves.
Prince William was in Ealing to visit Centrepoint, one of his oldest patronages.
Always a good sport, he took part in a boxing class where he shadow-boxed with other class participants. After putting on the black gloves, he shared ‘it might get me back into boxing, you never know’.
He also played foosball with several young people as he learned more about current activities at the centre.
The Prince of Wales will be marking his twentieth year as Patron of Centrepoint this year, following in his late mother’s footsteps who was also Patron. The late Princess of Wales brought Prince William and Prince Harry to visit Centrepoint as children, leaving them with a strong appreciation for the work that they do.
Centrepoint is a charity that helps provide accommodation and support to young people who are experiencing homelessness. Originally founded in 1969, the charity now helps nearly 14,000 people each year across the UK through a number of programmes.
William has made ending homelessness a priority as Prince of Wales. In 2023, he helped launch Homeward, a five year project aiming to show that homelessness can tackled across the UK.
