Lady Louise competes at the Royal Windsor Horse show alongside her mother, the Duchess of Edinburgh

Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor once again competed at the Royal Windsor Horse Show over the weekend.

After spending time officiating at the show earlier in the week, the young royal took to the reins on the final day.

Lady Louise competed in the British Driving Society event, as did her mother the Duchess of Edinburgh, who rode in a separate carriage.

Louise and Sophie both received a commemorative rosette for completing four mile drive.

As well as competing on the final day, Lady Louise also helped officiate the event.

The 20-year-old royal was seen donning a high visibility jacket with a badge identifying her as an official.

From 1943 until her death in 2022, Queen Elizabeth II never missed the Royal Windsor Horse Show

Even in her final months, despite serious health issues, The late Queen attended the show to watch her highland pony take part in a competition.

Her Majesty’s horse won first prize, much to the delight of the crowd in attendance.
