The Prince of Wales is in isolation after catching coronavirus.
The heir to the throne tested positive for Covid on the morning of February 10th 2022 and immediately cancelled his planned day of engagements in Winchester.
Via social media it was announced that Prince Charles was ”deeply disappointed” to have to put back his visit but hoped to reschedule the events ”as soon as possible.”
This is the second time that the Prince, who is 73, has contracted Covid after a bout in the spring of 2020 at the start of the pandemic.
The news came just hours after Prince Charles attended a reception for the British Asian Trust alongside the Duchess of Cornwall.
There was no word on whether Camilla had also tested positive for the virus.
Both the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall have been fully vaccinated against Covid.
