Looking for a new job? The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall are looking for a new personal assistant. Posted recently on their official website, the permanent role is based at the historic St James’s Palace in London.
The role will be responsible for managing diaries, arranging meetings and assisting with different events attended by the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall. Duties also include handling phone calls, responding to queries in a timely manner and regularly drafting letters and emails
The Palace is looking for a candidate with previous administrative and personal assistant experience. This includes managing complex diaries, drafting correspondence and having a high level of professionalism and self-motivation. A proactive, flexible approach, as well as strong IT skills, are an asset to the needed organisation and communication skills.
Candidates will have the chance to work with a broad spectrum of people and must be able to develop good working relationships while being able to work collaboratively and constructively. The ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion is essential.
