The King and Queen attended the Braemar Games ahead of a big anniversary.
With just hours to go until the second anniversary of Charles III’s accession, Their Majesties were at the annual Highland gathering near to Balmoral.
Embed from Getty ImagesThey enjoyed an afternoon of Games including the famous tug of war and toss the caber competitions. The Braemar gathering is the most famous of all the Highlands events and draws thousands of visitors every year. The Royal Family has been attending for over a century.
The Queen wore a blue print dress with a brown, feather trimmed beret. The King was in Balmoral tartan.

King Charles has been at Balmoral over the past few days although Queen Camilla has been carrying out engagements across the UK this week.
