The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have released a video of their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, who have some adorable questions for Sir David Attenborough.

A confident Prince George kicks off with the question, “Which animal do you think will go extinct next?” Upon which, Sir David answers that there are lots of things to be done to make sure that an animal does not go extinct. A shy Charlotte expresses her love of spiders and asks if Sir David likes spiders too. A delighted Sir David responds that he loves them but understands why other people don’t. An excited Louis asks, “Which animal do you like?” Sir David answers that he thinks monkeys are fun but that they shouldn’t be kept as pets so he would go for a puppy.

The video was released just days after Sir David Attenborough joined The Duke of Cambridge for a private outdoor screening of his upcoming film ‘David Attenborough: A Life On Our Planet’, at Kensington Palace. The Duke of Cambridge and Sir David Attenborough are working together to tackle some of the environmental challenges of our planet and are working closes on The Earthshot Prize. The Earthshot Prize is due to launch on 8 October 2020.
