GALLERY: Princess Beatrice’s Wedding Album

You can always count on Princess Beatrice to wear something bold and whimsical to a wedding. In honour of what would have been her wedding day, let’s look back at some of the great outfits and hats she’s worn as a wedding guest over the years!

If you thought Princess Beatrice’s funky fascinator style only started with William and Kate’s wedding, take a look at this eccentric butterfly fascinator—created by renowned royal milliner Philip Treacy and paired with what appears to be a butterfly-patterned dress under a white coat and enjoy!

This look definitely put Princess Beatrice on the map. Those who didn’t really follow her fashion certainly started including her in their royal fashion round-ups after she showed up at her cousin’s wedding in this blush pink coat dress and sculptural Philip Treacy hat.

Proving that she had a sense of humour about her wedding look, she later auctioned off the hat for charity, posting on eBay that, “”I’ve been amazed by the amount of attention the hat has attracted. It’s a wonderful opportunity to raise as much money as possible for two fantastic charities.

“I hope whoever wins the auction has as much fun with the hat as I have.”

The hat would sell for £81,100.01 a month after the royal wedding.

A few months after William and Kate’s big wedding, Beatrice joined the rest of the Royal Family in Edinburgh for Zara’s more private ceremony. Going for a blue theme—with a bit of whimsy added because it’s Beatrice, her dress and teacup-looking hat was designed by The Queen’s personal dressmaker.

Beatrice wore a custom beaded Roksanda dress and barely-there Stephen Jones hat in a beautiful teal blue colour palette to this spring wedding at Windsor Castle. Of course, all eyes were on Beatrice’s choice of hat but she wore a more subdued headpiece that created an airy, spring effect for her look.
