Embed from Getty ImagesThis look definitely put Princess Beatrice on the map. Those who didn’t really follow her fashion certainly started including her in their royal fashion round-ups after she showed up at her cousin’s wedding in this blush pink coat dress and sculptural Philip Treacy hat.
Proving that she had a sense of humour about her wedding look, she later auctioned off the hat for charity, posting on eBay that, “”I’ve been amazed by the amount of attention the hat has attracted. It’s a wonderful opportunity to raise as much money as possible for two fantastic charities.
“I hope whoever wins the auction has as much fun with the hat as I have.”
The hat would sell for £81,100.01 a month after the royal wedding.

Going for a blue theme—with a bit of whimsy added because it’s Beatrice, her dress and teacup-looking hat was designed by The Queen’s personal dressmaker.
