Experiencing the Meghan Markle spa day at the Westin in Nashville

I was invited to experience the special Royal Wedding spa at the Westin Nashville on Friday at the Rhapsody Spa (which collaborates with United Kingdom-based ESPA). The spa was based on the treatments that Meghan Markle (the now Duchess of Sussex) usually receives. There were two options: the three hours “Royal Wedding Spa Package” for $392 and the five hours “Royal Wedding Queen Mother’s Spa Package” for $461.

An 80 minute facial, make-up application, manicure and pedicure were all part of the Royal Wedding Queen Mother’s Spa Package I was given the opportunity to experience. Guests were provided with slippers and a comfortable robe and first taken to the “Relaxation Room” before the treatments began.

My treatment started with the facial which included a head, face, neck and foot massage; with the latter, I was given a choice of either a hand or foot massage, and I chose the latter. An array of different lotions, exfoliations and masks were put on my face, neck and in my hair. It was a very peaceful setting that allowed me to really de-stress (which, admittedly, was much needed). Trips to the Relaxation Room were in-between each treatment.

The make-up application was next before my pedicure, which was followed by my manicure. I was offered water and champagne throughout the experience; I only chose to drink champagne while getting my pedicure. Options for my manicure included OPI colours that Meghan has worn numerous times.

It was so relaxing, and I don’t think my skin has ever been so smooth. It is no wonder why Meghan gets these treatments regularly.

Thank you to the Rhapsody Spa and the Westin Nashville for the complimentary room and spa to celebrate the Royal Wedding!
