The Duchess of Cornwall attended a dinner for the wine industry in Britain and Wales last night, capping off a busy day of engagements.
Camilla attended the wine industry’s dinner at Vintner’s Hall in London, where she was spotted enjoying a glass of red.
“I have witnessed our wine going from strength to strength in quantity and even more importantly, in quality,” Camilla said in a speech.
Camilla has been President of Wines of Great Britain since 2011.

“In the last 16 years, English sparkling wines have won no less than 15 international trophies in global competitions,” reads its official website.
“England and Wales now have over 2,500 hectares under vine, with around 700 vineyards (not all commercial) and over 160 wineries producing world-class internationally award-winning sparkling, white, rosé and red wines.’
Attending the wine industry dinner was Camilla’s third engagement on Thursday.
In the morning she attended a memorial service at Westminster Abbey for the late Lord Carrington, who was the last of Winston Churchill’s post-war cabinet ministers. He passed away last July.
Lord Carrington served in every government until 1982, when he resigned after Argentina invaded the Falkland Islands
Camilla attended the service on behalf of Prince Charles and was joined by the Duke of Kent and Princess Alexandra.
Camilla visited the Royal Academy of Arts in the afternoon to learn about its new facilities and educational programming. While there, she watched a life drawing class and quipped, when she saw that the model was fully clothed, “Sorry, I didn’t realise it was a real model at first…with clothes on!”
She also met with schoolchildren from Rod Green Junior School in Kingsbury as well and watched them take an art workshop at the Academy’s Clore Learning Centre; and visited the new Collection Gallery.
