
Queen Camilla is staying busy this September and made her first visit to the English National Ballet since becoming patron by heading to the Mulryan Centre For Dance.
Buckingham Palace announced earlier this year that The Queen would become patron of the English National Ballet and Thursday marked her first visit in that role.

[getty src=”2170359823″ width=”594″ height=”396″ tld=”com”]In addition to seeing rehearsals for a new version of the beloved holiday classic, The Nutcracker, she was also able to see some of Akram Khan’s groundbreaking reinterpretation of Giselle.
She was joined by the ENB’s Artistic Director, Aaron S. Watkin, and the Chair of the ENB, Sir Rupert Gavin, as she watched rehearsals and met with dancers and staff members.

[getty src=”2170362135″ width=”594″ height=”395″ tld=”com”]The Queen has shared before that she dances herself and takes part in the Royal Academy of Dance’s Silver Swans programme. The programme is aimed at seniors with specifically designed classes to help with mobility, coordination and posture for any experience level.
The Queen chose an elegantly appropriate accessory for the day, turning to her Bouton d’Or Ballerina Clip from Van Cleef & Arpels. She first debuted the piece in 2022 when meeting with Mikhail Baryshnikov, Darcey Bussell and Carlos Acosta.
