But do you have what it takes to dish up the finest meals for the Royal Family?
Now that’s a whole different question!
Buckingham Palace has recently announced that they are on the look-out for a new sous chef who, as reported in Delish, will take on the role of planning and creating dishes for various royal occasions.
The lucky candidate will work in the famous residences and be trusted to feed The Queen and her family when they host big events.
The job application has been listed online where the Royal Household has shared their expectations for the role and highlighted exactly what the tasty job will entail.
The notice states “Alongside the head chef you’ll lead and motivate the kitchen team, playing an integral part in the day-to-day running of our operations.”
But unfortunately, as might be expected, not just anyone can apply.
In order to have an application considered, candidates must have experience in the food industry, strong leadership and communication skills and on top of this- be trained in French cuisine, the job notice states.
And the job will also give the lucky applicant the chance to move around between different royal residences.
The role also offers the exciting opportunity to live in Buckingham Palace itself with the listing stating “The role also offers the option to live-in with all meals provided (for which there is a salary adjustment).”
This isn’t the first time that Buckingham Palace has offered such a job opportunity either.
In December 2017 the Royal Household made headlines with Metro reporting that an opening for a Demi Chef de Partie at the palace had been posted to the household’s website.
