Peter Phillips questioned by police after Scotland visit

The Queen’s eldest grandchild Peter Phillips has been “issued advice” after making a trip to Scotland during the ongoing national lockdown.

According to The Sun, locals complained to the police after Mr Phillips made the 460 mile Rond trip from Gloucestershire to Aberdeenshire.

Police visited Princess Anne’s son and issued him with advice, however, deemed he was not in breach of lockdown restrictions as he explained he was in Scotland on a business trip.

A spokesman Mr Phillips told The Sun that he had been on a business trip in relation to a company called XL Medical which provides rapid Covid tests.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “At around 6.40pm on Friday 26 March, 2021, police received a report of a potential breach of coronavirus regulations at a property in St Cyrus, Montrose.

“Officers attended, spoke to the occupants and found no breaches of legislation.”
